Trendle and written by Fran Striker, the show became so popular it was one of the reasons why several stations linked together to share programming on what became the Mutual Broadcasting System. The shows on the CD range from 1937 to 1944.

He and his third wife Dale Evans, his golden palomino Trigger, and his German shepherd, Bullet, were featured in over one hundred movies and The Roy Rogers Show. The show ran on radio for nine years before moving to television from 1951 through 1957

  • Hopalong Cassidy - Old Time Radio Show MP3 CD

    Hopalong Cassidy is a cowboy-hero, created in 1904 by Clarence E. Mulford and appearing in a series of popular stories and novels. In print, the character appears as a rude, rough-talking 'galoot'. Beginning in 1935, the character, played by William Boyd, was transformed into the clean-cut hero of a series of 66 immensely popular films, only a few of which were based on Mulford's works

  • The Cisco Kid - Old Time Radio Show MP3 CD

    The Cisco Kid radio show was a western drama series with a plotline that appealed greatly to children. Cisco and his sidekick Pancho were two carefree bandits who enjoyed stealing from evil rich people and using the money to help the poor. In fact, the announcer would often refer to Cisco as "The Robin Hood of the West". During its run, the series aired at least once per week and as much as three times per week.
